Is Online TRT in Utah Legit? How a Telehealth Visit Works

What a legitimate telehealth TRT program in Utah looks like, how to check a provider's Utah license, and how A2Z's video visits and labs work.

Online TRT is a real way to get care in Utah, and it is also a space where it pays to check before you sign up. Here is what a legitimate program looks like, how to verify one yourself, and exactly how A2Z works.

What a legitimate program has

A named prescriber who is licensed in Utah. Lab work before any prescription. A provider, not a salesperson, who makes the treatment decision. A published price. Written billing and cancellation terms you can read before you pay.

If any of those is missing, ask why before you go further.

How to check a Utah license yourself

Utah's Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL) has a free public license lookup at secure.utah.gov/llv. Search the prescriber's name and confirm the license is active. Our provider is Jack Mayeux, APRN, FNP. You can look him up the same way.

How an A2Z visit works

1. Book a free video consult. You must be physically in Utah during every telehealth visit.

2. If your provider orders labs, you get them drawn at a Quest Diagnostics site you choose. Initial labs are included.

3. Your provider reviews your results with you by video and decides whether TRT is appropriate.

4. If it is, medication ships to your Utah address. If it is not, you are told why, and nothing is prescribed.

Is there an office?

No. A2Z is telehealth only. There are no walk-in visits; every visit happens by video.

Common questions

Who makes the treatment decision?

All medical evaluations, treatment decisions and prescriptions are made independently by our Utah-licensed provider.

Can I do a visit while I'm out of state?

No. You must be physically located in Utah during your telehealth appointment. Schedule visits for days you are in Utah.

Do I get labs before a prescription?

Yes. Labs come first, and your provider reviews them with you before any treatment decision.
