Is TRT Right for Me?
TRT is for men with symptoms of low testosterone and laboratory evidence confirming it. It is not for everyone. Here is how to think about it.

TRT may be appropriate if you have:
- Symptoms consistent with low testosterone — persistent fatigue, low drive, reduced libido, difficulty with body composition despite diet and training
- Laboratory evidence of low testosterone on a comprehensive panel
- No contraindications identified by a provider reviewing your full history
TRT is generally not appropriate if you have:
- Untreated severe sleep apnea
- Uncontrolled heart failure
- A recent history of hormone-sensitive cancer
- Markedly elevated hematocrit
- Normal testosterone levels without symptoms — TRT is not a performance enhancer
This is not a complete list. A provider reviews your full history and labs before any prescription is written.

If you're not certain where you stand, take our 2-minute symptom self-assessment. It scores your symptoms privately and tells you whether testing is worth it. Symptoms alone are not a diagnosis, and a single number is not a protocol. Your provider orders comprehensive labs and reads them against what you are actually experiencing. Start with testosterone testing.
